i just spent around 330 buck to completely replace the engine cooling system. I just wanted to know if I got ripped off or if I got a great deal

    Your engine total uses 10 quarts of coolant/antifreeze it is not that expensive. did they have to do a heavy duty flush or replace the thermostat or did you have a specific overheating problem if not the price is quite high. I suspect more was done than a straight forward cooling system flush.

    The cooling system includes parts like:
    water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses, cooling fan, heater hoses, heater core, coolant.
    Check your invoice and if you got all that replaced, you got an excellent deal!

    Ripped off?? The best deal ever!!
    Only one of the cooling fan is $285 + 2 hours of labor.
    Radiator is $360 + 1.5 hrs. of labor
    Water pump $150 +1.5 hrs.
    Heater core $220 + 6 hrs.
    + hoses, coolant.... You got at least $1000 discount on this deal. You are a tough negotiator.
