Question: replace rod in motor cost

Car was in water. sustained water damage which damaged the engine. Diagonstic is probably bent rod. I need the best price and recommendation who to go to. Thanks, Tony

Sounds like someone took their jeep 4byin thru a mud puddle. In any case, was it running full out? You may have a lot more problems than that. It cost me a rebuilt motor at 2800.00, a cat converter, o2sensors, fuel tank clean out, etc,etc. Locate your nearest auto repair shop. Beg for a free quote. I wish you a lot of luck on this repair.
