The Fuel Pump May Fail Causing the Engine to Stall or Crank Over But Not Start on GMC Jimmy

wife and I went to grocery store to by somethings for dinner came out of the store ,tried to start the truck but it would not start . it was turnning over but not getting any gas. Called for a tow truck had it towed to the repair shop after all was said and done it cost me about $950.00. One year later or should i say 13 months later it failed again the one year warranty had expired it cost me this time $650.00they gave me a so called discount because the warranty had already expired by one month. Thanks GMC.
cranks but wont start.
it starts hard, or doesnt. then when you get it started it will just stop while driving.
I thought it was the fuel pump and now you have confermed it i will change it.
Thanks for the help
New fuel pump fixed it
Jimmy would turn over but not start, had fuel pump replaced then worked fine.
I went to take my son to school and went back to pick up trailer then went home to get family it didn't start up I use to here my pump but not no more I got a new fuel pump still nothing
6am tried to start the car, have always kept up on it. The fuel pump stopped working according to the shop that charged me over $800
Loss of power to the pump. Have not yet found the fault.
going up hill spits sputters and backfires through intake then shuts off then cranks no start for 3 times then i wait and then it works and drives great and has power up hill again idk sounds like wiring issue with pump or sending unit
Fuel pump failed. Had to take the truck in and have it replaced.
Engine will turn over but not start. My trusted mechanic fears it is the fuel pump and estimates about $800 to replace with a quality new one. He warns of using a low cost or used fuel pump, and personally wont install one, as it will only need to be replaced again within a year or two. Vehicle is being towed to his shop this afternoon so I will keep you updated!
second time replacing it.
Same issue with stalls and no starts. Replace fuel filter and O2 sensor. Haven't tried fuel pump or Exhaust Gas Return.
