The fuel pump may fail causing the engine to stall and not restart. Our technicians recommend replacing the fuel filter every 30,000 miles to help prevent undue strain on the fuel pump.

wife and I went to grocery store to by somethings for dinner came out of the store ,tried to start the truck but it would not start . it was turnning over but not getting any gas. Called for a tow truck had it towed to the repair shop after all was said and done it cost me about $950.00. One year later or should i say 13 months later it failed again the one year warranty had expired it cost me this time $650.00they gave me a so called discount because the warranty had already expired by one month. Thanks GMC.

it starts hard, or doesnt. then when you get it started it will just stop while driving.
I thought it was the fuel pump and now you have confermed it i will change it.

Same issue with stalls and no starts. Replace fuel filter and O2 sensor. Haven't tried fuel pump or Exhaust Gas Return.
