if you have the factory radio then most likely it put it in safety mode when the battery was removed and you will need to get the code from the dealer. sometimes they can give you the code with just your VIN number and other times they need the serial number off of the side of the radio as well.

This Ford radio has no "code" feature. It's possible there was a surge in the system that may have damaged the radio. Check your fuses first, and otherwise, the radio will need to come out for repair.
