Replace air filter when replacing failed mass air flow sensor on Mercedes-Benz ML500

The mass air flow (MAF) sensor tends to fail. The engine air filter should be replaced when the mass air flow sensor is replaced; a dirty filter can allow debris to damage the new sensor.

My Biggest Problem is I bought a Mercedes and have had nothing but major problems with the 2006 ML 500 SUV. Too much to report unless Mercedes will listen...and I've tried. Mercedes is loosing their name as a sound reliable car. I will never buy another!
