Replace air filter when replacing failed mass air flow sensor on Mercedes-Benz ML350

The mass air flow (MAF) sensor tends to fail. The engine air filter should be replaced when the mass air flow sensor is replaced; a dirty filter can allow debris to damage the new sensor.

Had P0172/P0175 error light code come up for mass airflow sensor/TPS....the MB dealer told me the air filter housing was put on wrong...blaming me, but They were he last ones to replace the filters....go figure. Guess the blame game is easier to use than to admit they did wrong! Is anybody honest these days?
