2000 Nissan Frontier Question: repair wiper motor arm

2000 Nissan Frontier, windshield wiper, arm on the windshield motor that is covered with black trim under the windshield, in front of hood.
How can you take that apart?
You said there was 6 bolts holding the body work in place, are they under the hood or under the dash? I see 2 plastic clamps or something like that where the hood stops and the trim begins holding it in place. Is this what I have to remove to be able to get to the windshield wiper motor and the rod that makes the wipers go back and forth?
Can you help me with this?
Thank you,
Ben Joiner
