I personally have not run across this exact problem very often and never on the 3.8 engine used in the Monte Carlo and other GM cars. Has anyone else out there had a similar problem? Unfortunately electrical connection issues can crop up anywhere in the wiring system and cause all kinds of different problems. Generally speaking, considering the amount of wiring and the number of electrical connections in each vehicle GM does a pretty good job with their wire harnesses and connectors.
