Sorry to keep posting about this. I told my mechanic about the check engine light coming on again & he said he just didn't know, offhand but that he'd get it figured out. He only works on the weekends & isn't going to be in town this weekend. I just hate to pay more by going somewhere else when I've already paid him $200. Any other ideas? I'm almost scared to drive the car.

    Next time you talk to your mechanic , ask him for the SPECIFIC DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) and maybe we can be of more assistance.Post code here.

    OK. I will as soon as he gets back to me. I initially got the same code from 2 different shops before I went to him. This past time he checked it again & once he fixed it, the code didn't come up again. Thanks for your help.

    Thats good to know. I talked to the mechanic & he said he was going some piece of equiptment that will blow a lot of air into where the sensor is.
