Correctly diagnosed a strange problem and resolved it with minimal expense.
These guys know what they are doing.
Prices are on the high side for a small shop but I trust their work.
The guys were knowledgeable and helpful. The office is organized and efficient.
The staff at Rennwerks are top notch. They treat your vehicle as if it were their own and they handle it with care. They go the extra mile to make sure their work is done right.
Holding my car longer then expected worked out because I got the loaner. It was good service to let me have it without a charge. In fact it should always be free since the weekend hours are so limited.
Car was ready with the recommended additional work. Discrepancies were corrected promptly.
Parts from Europe took for ever to arrive - this was not the fault of Rennwerks though.
Overall good experience. Will bring additional vehicles in for repairs. Bottom line - you get what you pay for.
Very knowledgeable about vintage Porsche cars.
I went in for brakes and service. While I was there I asked to have a diagnostic done to see why my car didn't pass smog. One section of the smog report said monitor not ready. After the diagnostic Don told me they determined I needed new catalytic converters on the front. He told me they were no longer available for my 2000 ML320 and that he would need to have one of the guys custom build some for my car. He quoted me a price of over $3000. I told him I couldn't pay that especially for a 17 year old car for which parts seem to be becoming obsolete. He said he would check some salvage yards and if he found some the price for the job would be about half the price of the custom built. After not hearing a word from Don for nearly two weeks I took my car to a friend's mechanic. They immediately knew what the problem was. They looked up the vin number for my car to find out what the drive sequence was. They took it out and drove it through the sequence which reset it. Problem solved. The total cost to me for resetting the driving sequence, smogging my car and the smog certificate was $214.75. I called Don told him the facts and let him know I didn't appreciate him trying to get me to spend an unnecessary $3000. He didn't even try to justify it. Just told me he was sorry I felt that way, in an insincere tone. I told him I was sorry that he tried to screw me over and that I wouldn't be coming back. And I won't.
I have been to the shop many times.
They are very thorough and do good work.
They were able to complete the work on time.
Quick repair, excellent communications.
I was pleased with service.
I already have recommended this shop to other Eurovan owners.
Technicians did everything they could to discover what was draining the battery. In the end, they determined that something was defective about the battery. It was good detective work.
The team at Rennwerks provided quality service, an honest quote, and only recommended work that needed to be performed.
I am very picky about my cars, but I trust the mechanics at Rennworks to not only do a great job, but also make pertinent service suggestions. I like that they constantly keep me updated with phone calls. Also their new receptionist is excellent.
I had tires mounted and balanced. Balance is good but I think the price was high.
Very professional and updating the customer on the progress of the repair.
My brakes squeak every time I drive the car cold or having run for a while. I don't believe the feedback I got that there is no problem.
Great experience. Would return for service anytime.
When I went to check the work that was done under the hood, found that the technician forgot to install all hardware. They fixed it on the spot after I mentioned it to the service advisor though.
I like the quality service.
Fast responses, and was able to give me honest answers about what my car needed.
It's just okay.
Good work, reasonable prices.
I have been taking my car here for roughly 7 years and continue to be pleased.
I've actually been into the shop again since my initial visit. I was happy with the service.
People at Rennwerks are good at communication. Everything is always explained well to me.
Very nice people and do great work, I was very pleased with the service.
They were very friendly and everything went great!
Very pleasant staff ,quite thorough on car needs present and future.
I feel Rennwerks is not living up to its marketing claims. I took my Cobra into the shop for a full engine re-build/upgrade as well as many other upgrades. I anticipated having Rennwerks jump into this project with energy and helpfulness. The car sat for several weeks, I was not consulted or advised precisely or given guidance on what would be the most logical choice for the car. In fact, on one occasion after the car had sat for a couple weeks I was informed..."well you know I've been racing my car the last 4 days". I asked for budgetary quotations on a couple options on numerous occasions which I did not get. I was told, "whatever you think you will spend, double that". These are not heartening experiences that build trust and confidence. By the way, the car is fully upgraded, it is awesome, it was completed in a reasonable amount of time. In fact, by my calculations, I spent $8000 less if the car had continued to sit at Rennwerks. I was provided individual customer service by the other parties, my budget was always taken into account, I was informed and involved in every decision, and the other parties have stayed in touch to follow-up on the car to ensure break-in and final adjustments are made properly. This is what I had expected of Rennwerks but did not receive. The other parties were more than happy to and enthusiastic to work with me.
They were able to squeeze me in for a car for evaluation on the weekend and provided professional service and knowledge.
Gina and Mike were kind, kept me updated on the status of my car, made the recommendations of what I needed done and talked me through what I could get done now within my budget.
They have the tools to perform advanced testing.
Mike made a tough situation right.
Did good work. Accidentally damaged a part and were forthright and up front about replacing it. Good German car knowledge plus the necessary electronics.
Service and knowledge were top notch. I went there at a very busy time so my car was in the shop longer than I would have liked.
Great service . Mike is a great guy.
They have the best customer services. They know you by name, and insure you have all the information about the repairs.
Friendly, trustworthy service. Work done when promised. Follow up phone call to make sure everything is working properly.
Mike and his team are very knowledgeable and professional and I always feel that my car is in good hands at RennWerks.
They are good.
They are very knowledgeable.
Mike and team provide great service. He advised on work my car (2005 BMW 330ci) needs, but listen to me about what I can afford to have done, and plan a schedule for service and repair to meet my needs.
I completely trust in RennWerks.
Over charged way over priced, tried to do work that wasn't necessary.
Good quality, thorough service. Competitive rates.
