removing transmission on 1993 Pontiac Firebird

where do i start iv never taken a transmission out of a pontiac can someone help me by telling me the basics i can figure out the rest? thanks people

I recommend you get a repair manual if your going to work on your own vehicle. It's real easy now that they're available online.
