have removed the headlight assembly and cover to low beam bulb.
can't separate connector from bulb base.
don't want to damage connection.
is a special tool needed or simple explanation.

TechnicianThis requires some wiggling and gentle pulling, that plastic housing will crumble and break off the terminals but you can purchase that piece at the local Volvo dealership for a reasonable price or eBay:
