The power brake booster vacuum hose may become disconnected, which can cause a high idle speed and loss of power brake assist. This may increase the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect the power brake vacuum hose to make sure it is fully seated and clamped at the brake booster.
Toyota is recalling 1995 Corolla and Tacoma models for a defective weld inside the positive and/or negative terminal, which may allow the connection inside the terminal to separate. This can result in a no-start condition or the battery could explode. Dealers will replace the defective batteries.
Ford has recalled certain 1991-1995 Explorer vehicles for a concern with the liftgate gas lift brackets. In some cases, the liftgate gas lift bracket may separate from the liftgate, causing the liftgate to possibly fall. Dealers will reinforce the bracket attachments for the liftgate lifts.
