RepairPal Expert Overview
The driver and/or passenger side seat air bag may not deploy as expected in the event of a crash. This would increase risk of occupant injury.
Recalls on your Land Rover must be performed by a Land Rover dealership. Land Rover began notifying owners of affected vehicles starting in January, 2014. If you did not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Land Rover dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Land Rover recall number is P037.
An electrical connector for the driver and/or passenger side seat airbag may become disconnected due to insufficient clearance for the wire harness within the seat. If this were to occur the affected side airbag would not function as expected in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of personal injury. Dealers will modify the area around the problem connector to prevent it from becoming accidentally disconnected free of charge to resolve the concern.
