Some vehicles may have been assembled without one of the front inner or outer brake pads.
General Motors will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning January 14, 2012. If you are experiencing braking problems, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It's helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) when you call.
Some vehicles may be missing a front inner or outer brake pad. A missing pad could result in reduced brake system performance, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect the front brakes for missing pads. If a brake pad is missing, dealers will install new brake pads, a new brake caliper, and a new rotor. The General Motors recall number is 11354.
