We at RepairPal have designated this a high priority recall; stopping distance may be increased. Please contact your GM dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
On some trucks, wiring for the ABS wheel speed sensors may be reversed, which could cause increased stopping distance. This condition could increase the risk of a crash. Dealers will correct the ABS wheel speed sensor wiring and reprogram the brake control module if necessary.
