1998 Volkswagen Beetle Question: Rebuild or Replace Carburetor

Visitor, 2.0L 4 Cylinder, Iowa City, IA, March 08, 2010, 04:58

I have to have the Carburetor either replaced with a new one or a re-built one. The car is a 1983 MG Replica with a VW Engine ("1983 Kit Built Replica w/Fiber Glass Body").

I doubt you can find a new carburetor for this but if you can always go with the new, but there is nothing wrong with a rebuilt a long as it comes with some kind of warranty

You can easily get a replacement caburator for a VW engine, just go to Mid America Motorworks' web site. Google the name, as I am not sure of the URL, but this company does nothing but make replacement parts for VWs (the classic type)
