Question: Reard Winshield Brake Light

The rear brake light mounted on the top of the rear windshield appears to just be mounted to 2 screws attached to the rear glass. My rear brake light has come off of one of the screws that it was originally mounted on and now hangs sideways off of one of the screws. My guess is that the threading or something has been stripped out from the brake light assembly. How should I go about fixing this? I'd like to simply rig it up rather than go through purchasing and installing a new rear brake light.

Usually you can find a thread restoring kit at a hardware store like a small plastic anchor for hanging pictures just cut it to fit

Steele putty available at any hardware store or auto parts place. You can also try cheaper velcro or double stick tape though not the "right" way to do it. Good luck.
