Rear Window Defogger Wire Terminal Broken Off of Window Glass on GMC Yukon XL Denali

The rear window defogger may stop working due to a wire terminal broken off of the rear glass. Our technicians tell us that terminal can be reattached using a special glue or silver solder.

Does anyone know what the special glue is to reattached the wire for the rear defroster?
Rear window defroster tab popped off window. Repeated attempts to fix were unsuccessful. I've tried epoxy, silver solder, copper conductive tape, and a defroster repair kit from Pep Boys. Probably going to need to get a new window, at this point.
The spade connector on the window, still connected to the wire, is dangling, disconnected. The clip broke away from the window.
Rear defroster fell off and I want to know how to repair it. Also do I need to take the metal clip off first.
clip broke off rear window defoger
Rear Window Defogger broke off - Found Special Glue at Auto Parts Store (several carried the product) re-attached but window does not de-fog.
Rear defroster tab broke off glass. Repaired under warranty. Special, electrically conductive glue is used to perform the repair.
Permatex has a product named rear defroster repair kit, I bought mine at a Murrays parts store $14. Clean the window area and broken tab with the cleaner / activator wait 5 minutes apply the conductive epoxy hold in place for 1 minute, let everything dry for 24 hours reconnect the wire to the tab (hold the tab with you finger) and whalaa ,,, it works great...
Knocked off the contact when wiping window off. It popped off very easily. I may try to solder it on.
Tab broke off, will try soldering back on...
Rear defogger terminal came off spontaneously. Everything I'm finding says I have to replace the glass
This has been a continual ongoing problem with my 2011 Yukon Denali. The cables that connect to the glass are not long enough (apparently) and they continually pop off. The dealer has had to replace the rear window three times because they can only attach cables back to the window about three times because there's nothing left to make contact. So after that they have to replace the glass. Service guys tell me this happens continually. One told me people are afraid to actually open the rear access back window because it may make a cable pop off. The last rear window I had replaced was only a week old before one cable popped off as I was driving down the road. Completely ridiculous that GMC has not fixed this yet. I spent over $65,000 for this suv and have this issue that happens over and over… Crazy
Wire in rear window broke and still broken!!
Left attachment came off. Yet to fix. Shop guys at school going to help me glue or solder
We had this fixed 4x's
Dealer told me to buy new glass hatch for $800, ridiculous!
Just bought it two months ago with 57k from Marty's GMC in kinston ma. They won't fix it, but I did get a response from them " oh it's normal, happens right about 60k". Good old American built SUV.
Rear defroster cable broke off the window.
Not sure if problem is the same but taking it in for a rattling noise under rear window with defrost wire. Sounds like a loose wire under the casing.
