2002 Volvo V70 Question: rear wheel locked up
Bret Bodas from RepairPal Test Shop, May 11, 2009, 09:26Master
I'm assuming you don't have AWD. There's only the wheel bearing, parking brake assembly and the caliper/pads on the rear wheel. You'll need to have the wheel removed, and the caliper and rotor, and then check the parking brake mechanism. I'm inclined to believe the something is wrong with the parking brake mechanism. Let us know what you end up finding.
