i am trying to install the rear hub assembly and i can't get the old one off. Can you please give me a step by step how to get it off and on and what i could be over looking.

    Doesn't it have bolts retaining the rear hub to the suspension? Have you removed them? I personally haven't worked on xB rear hub but that's how it looks in my manual. I could be wrong so write back if I didn't get it. Good luck with it.
