Question: rear view mirror points down when in reverse, but does not return in "D"

The driver's outside rear view mirror points downward when in reverse, but does not return to the upright position when shift knob is placed back in Drive.

    Reset the mirror to a slightly different position, possible a touch higher, but still comfortable for you. That should stop it from sticking so far down
