how do i access the key cylinder on the rear power window? the power window works from the interior switch but not from the outside key. i cant access it in order to check the connection.

You must remove the interior panel to access the key cylinder in the rear door of your 1990 GMC Jimmy. There may be screws around the edge of the door panel, if not there are retaining clips around the edge that will need to be released. to remove the panel.
