Looking to see if anyone knows an estimate on getting the rear main seal replaced on a Jeep Cherokee- and if anyone knows typically on a '98 whether its a one or two piece seal. I can't seem to find the details on which seal was being used on 98s.

the complete guide is available at http://www.autozone.com/autozone/ sign up and you can see the breakdown of the rear main seal repair, The book time is approx 7 hrs of labor because the transmission has to be remove and replaced before the rear seal can be repaired.
