rear hub on 2002 Mercury Mountaineer

I have a 2002 mountaineer and would like to know what size socket i need to buy to remove the rear hub nut? Also how much dammage could i have done driveing for about 100 miles on a bad bearing?

Perhaps someone else will know the exact hub nut size. I unfortunately do not, and they do not list it in the shop manual. 100 miles - well, you never do know; you just have to have a look at the spindle once the bearing is removed to assess its condition.

On my 2002 mountaineer with 2wheel drive, the rear axle-hub nut is 36mm.
