Question: Rear End Problem

 Rookie

I have a 1999 ML 320 which if at a complete standstill I accelerate there is a noise from the rearend. Kind of sounds like it is skipping gears.

  Your ML 320 has cv shafts in the rear, maybe they are worn and need replacing

  Probably the torsion bar mount in the rear is dry. It was/is a common problem with the ML320.
