will a 1993 lexus GS300 rear end be compatible with a 2000 lexus GS300

    What do you mean by "rear end"? Do you mean bumper? The answer is almost certainly no--these cars have different body styles and thus very different sheet metal.

    The only way to know if the rear differential from the 93 will fit the 2000 is to call the Lexus parts dept at your local dealer and have them look up the part numbers for each differential but I doubt that they are the same gear ratio and the spring perches have to be exact to bolt in, If the gear ratio is not the same the computer won't tell the transmission to shift at the proper RPM. Better off having the Ring and Pinion replaced in the 2000 differential
