The rear drivers side door will not open from the outside handle

    The rear inner door trim panel will have to be removed to see what is wrong. My brother in laws Explorer had the same problem needed a locking mechanism which was surprisingly cheap from Ford. Could be as simple as a linkage clip ($2.50).
