Question: rear defogger

the rear defogger on my 2002 trailblazer only top 5 lines work there are no breaks in grid if I diconnect wire on passengers side at grid connector complete grid will work has me a little confused finally got around to checking wires the wire I disconnect is the ground I'm still confused all help greatly appriciated

    I am confused also - you would think if you disconnect the wire it would not work at all. The wire on one side is the power and the other side is the ground. Disconnecting either wire should cause the defogger not to work at all. See if you can tell if you are disconnecting the power or ground side and I will do some more research on my end.
