Your brake pads might be worn down enough that the wear indicator is making the noise. Does this happen to be a Honda or Acura, if so you definetly need to get your brakes checked!!!

Your brake discs or rotors may be bad and cause a noise only when in reverse. Many places (including us) provide a free brake inspection. It's important to use OEM (from Original Equipment Manufacture) pads and rotors. Other brands and miss matched sets often cause extra squeaking.
