2007 Toyota Corolla Question: rear brakes
Brake compounds are made from various materials and some compounds will make brakes squeak. Unless the manufacturer makes a change in the compound there is nothing that can be done. You may want to try non factory brakes shoes/pads to see if there is a difference. Non factory shoes/pads are usually made from a different compound than factory shoes/pads. Depending upon the compound it could be better or it could make it worse. - rdude135
