Question: Rear brake shoes

 Rookie

when moisture gets on brake shoes on a damp night or if it rains.the first time
I brake they screech after that there fine. I've had them checked but they tell me thats normal and there fine.
and don't need to be replaced.I've never
had brakes screech like this.should I replace them or are thy right.

    There probably right, the brakes probably look fine. High humidity causes a lot of brake squeak noises. It's probably not hurting anything, other than your annoyance. I would replace them with a very good quality part. Check all the hardware too. Make sure the rotors/drums have a good finish on them.
