Question: rear brake drums

rear brakes cant get drum off

    Use a big hammer and expect to replace everything (drums, shoes, hardware and wheel cylinders)

    Before getting the hammer out, access the plug on the backing plate and back off the self adjuster so that the shoes contract. Then the drum will come off easier, as there is likely a lip formed at the edge keeping the drum from coming off.
