rear axle seal on 1998 Ford Explorer

how hard is it to replace the rear axle seal on my 1998 explorer. what do i have to do as far as releasing the axle from the gears

The axle seal is located with the rear wheel bearing and the book time to replace it is 1 1/2 hours But if you haven't done this before you would be better off having a shop handle this, you can find a shop here
