 Rookie

I can pull my steering wheel up 1" what part broke or was replaced wrong. I'm the 4th owner on a 1991.(prior owner repair?)

    It could be a few things. The steering shaft could be loose inside the steering column it self. The mounting bolts for the steering column could be loose or, the flex shaft could be loose. Those are a few places to begin inspecting. I would get this resolved ASAP, so it does not come completely out when your are driving!!!

    A common issue is the stearing shaft bearing. The retainers bread and the bearing fall out.
