Question: re-starting gauges and instrument panel lights after battery charge

After we charged the dead battery (yes, wife's fault), car starts, drives and things like cruise control, AC, etc work but nothing is illuminated on instrument panel and no gauges work to tell us how fast we're going. Is there a switch somewhere to re-start the illumination and gauges?

    Push the DSPL Mode button. Does anything happen?
    Inspect the IGN 1 Fuse in the rear junction block for an open.Inspect the I/P fuse #7 in the underhood junction block for an open. If these fuses are ok I'm afraid the cluster is bad. Good Luck to you
