How hard is it to replace a converter catalytic and cost?

    it is not hard.if you have a saw you can cut the pipe at the converter an get a c clamp to install the new converter.but you got to make sure to install the right way so it dont leak....you can call at 443)467-6662

    You live in Hawaii, put plenty of high quality penetrating oil on the hardware (Kroil, Liquid wrench) try working the bolts back and forth, don't break anything, you may need a oxy/ accetalyn torch to supply enough heat to loosen the hardware. Above all don't break the hardware or the repair gets more complex. Be patient trying to loosen the nuts and bolts.
