  I have known Joe and John Raymond for a long time. My wife, my children and I have been taking our vehicles to their shop for the past 21 years. We have always received excellent service with a smile. Joe and John refuse to do shoddy work. They will tell you up front what it will cost to do the job correctly. It may cost you more up front, but in the long run it will save you time, money and headaches. Their work is always timely, and of the highest quality.

  I recommend their shop in the highest manner possible. We love Cody and Buster (the dogs) too!

  In late 2007, I brought my 95 Chevy Camaro - whose engine I had blown - to the Raymond Brothers. I was hoping she could be saved and turned her over to their expert advice and care. It took several weeks but they replaced her motor and took care of some other needed repairs. Thanks to the expertise of these two excellent mechanics, my car now has the heart of a tiger..she doesn't purr, she roars! When I get out onto the open road, she takes wing and flies, with a ride as smooth as glass! Since these two breathed life back into my car, I have had several offers to buy her - all of which I turned down. I will never take my beloved Camaro to any other mechanic, even for so much as an oil change. This shop has my devoted business for life. "Highly recommend" doesn't even come close to the stellar review Raymond Automotive deserves...I would give them 10 stars if it were possible! Old-fashioned honesty and customer service with state-of-the-art repairwork is what you will get from doing business with the skilled mechanics at Raymond Automotive!

  Raymond Automotive understood my "female" description of the noise under my engine that left me literally on the side of the road and diagnosed it accurately. Their experience and expertise had me back on the road "lickey split". They also took the time to educate me on the repair so that I could intelligently explain it to others. Timely/Fairly Priced/Prepared --- MY #1 RECOMMENDATION IS RAYMOND AUTOMOTIVE --- THANK YOU!

  Took my RX300 2000 in for replacement of timing chain and water pump. Work was completed in expert manner and on timely basis along with very reasonable cost. The twin Raymond brothers have been servicing my Lexus along with my 1998 Toyota Camry V6. All work performed on both autos has been expertly completed. The Raymonds have been my mechanics for many, many years.

  About 3 years ago I started taking my car to Raymond to "check them out". Shortly after that I asked if they would take me on and help me make sure my car is always ready for a trip across country, just in case. They said yes. Since then I have depended on them to tell me what needs to be done and when. I have had zero problems, good recommendations, and complete confidence. Meticulous work, good people, reasonable costs.

  I can’t believe there are still people who consistently keep their word and put the customer first. The services performed on my vehicle are performed as described and at the quoted price consistently meeting or beating my expectations including time estimates. I’m very satisfied with the service I receive. As a woman, I appreciate that they always explain the repairs in a simple yet non-condescending manner and present a variety of options whenever possible.

  Raymond Automotive is the BEST shop in Hayward and the surrounding area. It would be wise to have Joe and John work on your car rather than wasting time trying to find a good mechanic. Relaible-Honest-Fair-Trustworthy

  I had my Ford F150 in for maintenance, very reasonable price. Then our Toyota Tundra started making horrible noises, we expected to hear bad news about needing to replace the rear differential. But were pleasantly pleased to hear it would "only" need the oil changed and additive added. What could have been a pricey repair bill was once more reasonably and fairly priced. Will trust these guys with all my vehicles!

  I recently moved back to the area and was referred to Raymond from a friend.

  I had a great experience with Raymond Auto.

  I was on a budget and could not spend much. However there were a few things that needed to be done with my vehicle (some maintenance, and some repairs).

  Raymond Auto was very helpful. They assessed my situation and gave me good advice on what I should get done and what can wait. There was no pressure and they were very quick and efficient with their work.

  Very friendly neighborhood business. These guys "get" it. They provide good honest service ,and I know I will come back.

  NOTE their information and call them.. I had my car in three different repair shops and no one could fix my problem.. I came across Raymond Automotive out of the blue.. frustrated with the lack of knowledge elsewhere I figured I would give them a shot as final attempt. Within the HOUR the Raymond's had my problem soloved! I WILL NOT go anywhere else period dot the end!

  Simply the best repair service around. They come to our aide with tow truck and repair after another repair service missed the real problem, leaving us stranded on the side of the highway. Wise to keep their card in the glove box.
