Rattling noise on 2002 Nissan Maxima

My car makes a rattling noise under the hood when i am driving while i have the gas pedal down at a certain point. Any ideas what this could be?

When you say a rattling noises when you accelerate, could it be "pining" due to low octane or poor quality fuel. Another thing that can cause rattling is the air conditioning compressor, try turning on an off the air conditioning, does this sound like the noise. Could it be exhaust heat shield related. There is a part of the exhaust heat shield that can fail and rust through and cause a rattle that can even become intermittent.

May be the struts are loose.Get the left strut reassembled.Don't spend money on buying spring and strut mounting.Just get new bushings only $10.00 bugs item plus labour if possible get both the front shocks or struts reassembled
