Has anyone ever had a rattling noise which appears to come from the catalytic converters? What did you do to fix it?

If the catalyst material inside the catalytic converter is rattling, the cat will need to be replaced. If you crawl under the Jeep, you can use your fist to pound (hammer fist) on the exhaust. You can get rattles from the cat, muffler, heat shields, etc. If it is the cat is rattling, you will know it when you bang on it. Be certain the rattles are not heat shields that have come loose.
