Question: randomly won't start/acts completely dead/no noise/no lights on dash nothing

I can drive it then jump back in and it will do nothing. let it sit and it fires right back up like nothing is wrong at all

    Open circuit somewhere(bad connection). Check battery connections -clean and free of corrosion , faulty connection at fusebox(main cable hook-up) ,ignition switch , in other words all your main power distribution wires and connections.Are you troubleshooting this yourself? If so a voltmeter/ohmmeter and wiring diagrams would be a big plus.
