They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. The Chrysler recall number is N22.
Federal regulations mandate the vehicle parking brake must hold on a 20% grade. These vehicles are being recalled because the parking brake cable equalizer may have been set incorrectly and the parking brake system will not hold the vehicle as required. Failure of the parking brake could cause the vehicle to roll unexpectedly. Dealers will reset the parking brake equalizer as required to correct this concern.
