The doors on the driver's side of my Ford 500 always take-in water when it rains hard. Please help me to find a workable solution... Thank you.

Do you mean that water is staying inside the doors themselves? Or water is getting into the interior?

These cars had a concern of poor water drainage from the inside of the doors. The doors are meant to have water pass through them, but sometimes the drains get clogged. Check at the bottom corners of the door to see if the drain holes are clogged, and poke a sharp object through them to possibly release any debris.

If water is coming inside the car through the doors, then you are looking at weatherstripping leakage or possibly a disconnected or plugged moonroof drain.

Sorry it took so long to respond but I found an answer to my problem as you have stated the drain holes were clogged and I pushed a release valve at the bottom of the driver's side door and have not had any more problems. Thank you.

    Hi

Take a look at the weather strip and if does not stay in place get's some 3m adhesive in black. Also Wuth makes a good product (cheap) for air, water leaks etc so call 1-800-wurthusa(987-8467). Let me know if this helps.

As I posted to DaveJHM today, thank you for responding and my problem was solved when I found the valve at the bottom of the driver's side door. Again, thank you.
