2001 Plymouth Neon Question: radio wont come on after ran the battery down, eq lights flash on and off

 Rookie

I left my ignition in the on postion by accident and I got up the next morning and I had a dead battery. I jump started the car and everything was fine except the radio wont turn on and the led lights on the radio eq just flash on and off.

    A lot of stereos need a security code entered once the battery is disconnected or has run low. Radio code should be included with owner's hand book when car was purchased new otherwise you may have to ask the dealer for the security code.
