radio code on 1996 Acura RL

I bought the car but the radio is asking me for a code

The code is in your owners manual. If lost, the Dealer can give you the code using the VIN number.

The previous owner should have given you a card with that number. If not, look on the side of the glove box for a sticker that may have the 5 digit code. If you don't have the 5 digit code, you will need to go to an Acura dealer. They may be able to find the radio serial number, otherwise the radio will have to be removed so that you can get the serial number from the radio itself. The code cannot be gotten with the cars vin number unless that dealer has it on file.

My Bose stereo was working GREAT!!!!! Then I had to have my battery changed and now the stereo does not work at all!!!When I turn it on it just comes back with code.What does anyone suggest I do???
i had it written down somewhere but i lost it i think its starts with 5 im not sure but i really would love someone to help me ive been driving without a radio for 1 week now
i didn't know that thy had a code was just hitting the buttons
