I WAS DRIVING THE CAR DOWN THE ROAD AND THE TEMPURATURE STARTED TO RISE. I CHECKED THE RADIATOR AND THERE WAS NO WATER. WHEN I TRIED TO START IT, IT WOULD NOT START.

Agree, a major overheat is one of the worst things to occur. Components can seize and warp when this happens.

MR. LAMB...YOU RAN THE CAR WITH NO WATER IN THE RADIATOR...THE RADIATOR COULDN'T COOL THE CAR...THE CAR RAN HOT...WHEN CARS (OR TRUCKS) RUN HOT THEY GET DAMAGED...MOST LIKELY DAMAGE IS A BLOWN HEAD GASKET AND/OR CRACKED CYLINDER HEAD...BLOWN HEAD GASKET AND/OR CRACKED CYLINDER HEAD WON'T ALLOW A CAR (OR TRUCK) TO START...
