Question: RADIATOR FAN RELAY

THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON IN MY TRUCK, SO I TOOK IT TO AUTO ZONE AND THEY PUT THE MACHINE ON IT AND THE CODE IS 1491. (THE RADIATOR FAN RELAY). COULD YOU TELL ME WHERE THE PART LOCATION IS ON THE TRUCK? AND AN ESTIMATE ON WHAT IT WOULD COST TO HAVE IT REPAIRED?

    The fan relay is in fuse box under hood, $15-$20

    I have the same problem. AutoZone says the check engine light is on because of the radiator fan relay - code 1491. The underside of the fuse/relay box lid shows the socket location of each fuse/relay and a radiator fan relay is not shown. Does anyone have an idea?

  • check engin light is on
    autozone checked the truck and found thatthe radiator fan relay circuit condition p1491 in the fuse box I can not locate the radiator nor the fan relay listed...
