My girlfriend recently had her radiator replaced. It was totally full of rust on the inside and was leaking. The mechanic told her the rust was a result of her not using the right anti-freeze. He told her to use anti-freeze with "hoyt" and not to mix it with water. I read her manual and could not find this stipulation. The manual says to use a 50/50 mix of regular anti-freeze. Have you ever heard of this?

    Use a good quality antifreeze and mix it with distilled water in 1:1 ratio. Replace it in every 2 years.
