Is the price for a radiator replacement ($567-$659 parts and labor on RepairPal) for a NEW one or reconditioned one? If not new, what is that price? Why would a new one be required?

What is the cost to replace the OIL PAN gasket? Why would the oil pan gasket fail on a 2001 Honda? Thanks

Older cars had radiators that were recored, soldered, and repaired. Now a days radiators have aluminum cores and plastic top and bottom tanks and are generally replaced rather than repaired for cost.
Generally 1.8 to 2 hours labor to replace, $270 to $350 for a radiator and coolant.
Oil pan gasket replacement 1.5 to 1.9 hours to replace, add a gallon of oil, and approx $30 for a gasket.

I just replaced my radiator on my 2001 Honda Crv last week. I paid $145 on the referbished radiator with a life time warranty and $6.00 on antifreeze. It was not a difficult job. My dad walked me thru it. I got the supplies at AutoAdvance (Its like AutoZone but less expensive)

This happened to my 2001 Honda CR-V too. This seem to be a very common problem with this vehicle. It costed me $175 to replace this. Donot go to Good Year / NTB / Tire Kingdom.
