Go to the estimator www.repairpal.com/estimator and put in your vehicle's info and choose rack and pinion and if you need a shop near you www.repairpal.com/directory alignment is included when major steering work is performed

I don't see a power steering rack and pinion on the list. Would it be something else?

I know there are diferent labor cost and parts cost for different cars and trucks, however I can't imagine a rack and pinion costing over $200 to $250 in labor cost plus the parts cost. Anything over $600 seems too much in my opinion.

I live in the eastern panhandle of WV...any idea what this might run here total? I have a suspicion that my rack and pinion is bad. Very hard to make left hand turns, not so bad to the right. Fluid is full.

I realize this question was asked a long time ago, but for anyone else who is researching this, here in California, a decent place I found charged a total of like $500. This included the part, labor, a power steering flush or whatnot and the alignment that I guess needs to be done when you do the rack and pinion.
